⇢ BE RESPECTFUL!
Honestly, you wouldn't believe how hard people seem to make out this rule to be. We want everyone to feel welcome here, not shunned away because you're being an ass. Please, keep hurtful and downright rude opinions to yourself, and if you have an issue with someone, let a staff member know about the situation and it will be dealt with.
⇢ READ, READ, READ!
This rule is just common sense. Before you reply to a post, make sure you really read it. Don't just skim someone’s post before you reply, they more likely than not worked hard on it, and it deserves to be read. Plus, you could miss an important detail that they might have wanted someone to pick up on.
⇢ DO. NOT. STEAL.
Seriously, don’t even think about it. We will not tolerate anyone stealing, emulating, or copying ANYTHING from the site. The staff has worked their ass off on Spin The Stars to make it the beautiful site that it is. This rule also extends to ALL content posted by our members. Beware, we all have wands, and we know how to use them.
⇢ GRAPHIC LIMITATIONS!
We would like for you to keep your avatars to 100x100 at the very maximum, due to the fact that if they get any larger, the boards start to look funny. Images in your signatures may not exceed 500x350, all added up. Meaning, if multiple images exceed your limit, you will be warned.
⇢ NO SPAMMING/ADVERTISING OOB.
This is simple enough, am I right? Absolutely no spamming, which means no randomly posting nonsense everywhere. Also, no advertising outside of the sideboard set aside for ADVERTISING. If I see any spamming or out of place advertising, you will be given one warning.
⇢ CBOX MANNERS
The Cbox is the main discussion place on the site, it would be nice if you wouldn’t be a complete douche in it. Do not exclude anyone from the conversation, and don’t get into fights in the cbox. We do have the power to remove the Cbox from the site, if the rules can’t be followed, it will be removed. Sorry.
⇢ KEEP YOUR BROOM ON COURSE!
Please keep all posts on topic, or we will throw you into the goddamn whomping willow. This means that if someone is talking about an MMORPG, do not storm into the board screaming about how Barbie’s a fucking bitch. Trust me, we all know. Well, back on topic, please just don’t be unrelated to a thread.

☆ Roleplay & ic rules NAKEY TIME!
⇢ INTERMEDIATE TO ADVANCED
We are an Intermediate to Advanced roleplaying site. This means that we expect you to be a decent roleplayer, at bare minimum. If you are a new roleplayer, we are probably not the best site for you.
⇢ FACE CLAIMS ARE OPTIONAL
Want to use that awesome original anime-style guy or girl you found? Go ahead! But please, so that our site doesn’t encounter issues, do not use an artist’s work without their permission! This could get the site into major trouble, and would make the admins have to deal with many things we really don’t want to.
⇢ ONE ACCOUNT PER CHARACTER
We, here at Spin the Stars, strive for the highest amount of character personalization. It’s also much easier to keep things organized, and sort member groups and all of that good stuff. Also, your display name must be changed to display your character’s name for each account.
⇢ PROPER SPELLING AND GRAMMAR!
Make sure your posts are able to be read. No eye-murdering colors or formatting, please. Do NOT center align posts! This chops the post up and makes it hard to read. We also like your spelling and grammar to be proper, so that the reader doesn’t struggle to understand what you are trying to say. Please, spell check your posts, make sure to use proper capitalization and grammar.

Please, no auto hit/dodge, do not god mod or power play in any form. If you don’t happen to know the meaning of these
terms, look them up.
⇢ CANONS
Canon family names for your character are a privilege on this site! To have a canon family name, you must PM a staff member, and be approved to create the character. We don't want the site overstuffed with canon family characters, so we will make you earn them.
