☆ classes & assignments GET TO CLASS! Each Professor is allowed one post in this thread. They must give the classes that they are currently teaching including the year (and house if necessary). They must include the starting date of the thread. They also must include the assignments if any are going to be given out. The assignments should be based on what you did in class or around it. For example, if we learned about creating spells in class the homework would be to think up of an idea to make a spell. Simple! Use this template in your post and remember to remove the *.

As for house points! There is a specific way of giving them out. Follow the marking scheme before handing them out and make a post in your thread that is the class about how many points were given to each student. for example. John Black: 35 -- Attendance: 10 -- Classwork: 15/20 -- Homework: 10/20 As you may have noticed you receive and automatic 10 house points from just attending. Then there is classwork and homework. Both are rated out of 20. Here is a brief description on how they are marked.
Attendence: 10 You get ten house points for just attending the class - even if you only post once. If your post was crap you still get ten house points. Isn't it great.
Classwork: ?/20 This is the the quality of the posts and how you played along in class. If you were having trouble in class then you will still get points because students have difficulties in classes unless your a ravenclaw. The more you post and the better quality your posts the more you get.
Homework: ?/20 This is optional for the professor to give. If it isn't given you can't receive these house points. It's up to the professor to make a marking scheme for the assignments and where they want to award points but the maximum you can receive is twenty. Better homework - more house points.
Total: ?/50(or 30 if no homework)

☆ music, sigmond blake Elective, all years, all houses SUMMARY OF CLASS:-- Within the Music classroom, students are taught about genres of music, famed composers, current singers and bands, and how to read and write music. Professor Blake teaches not of just wizarding music, but muggle music too, broadening the spectrum of listening and choice. Students are also taught basic spells created by the Professor himself that would benefit a musically inclined wizard/witch. If the student wishes, the Professor will also tutor in singing and instrument playing, as he also puts together the school choir and bands for events and the like. The classroom itself is equipped with both wizard and muggle music players, as well as many instruments to learn on. (Current thread; stared April 6th. Who is your favorite singer or band? 3. What is your favorite song by them and why? 4. What is your favorite aspect about the music produced by that singer or band? 5. Does their music inspire you, or leave you wanting more? 6. Would you suggest others to listen to their music? The essay will be read and graded, and house points will be awarded to those who do well. Do poorly, and no house points will be awarded. Do great work, and a maximum of twenty points may be awarded.
