Gender: Male Sexuality: Homosexual (His sexuality is COMPLETELY unknown to EVERYONE. Else he would not be a teacher.) Blood Type: Half-blood. (His father is a muggle.) Species: Human wizard. Familiar: Will be getting one soon. Patronus: Japanese Phoenix Rooster Boggart: Total, maddening, deafening silence. Place Of Work: Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. Position: Music Teacher Strong Subjects: ⇢ Music; well, that's pretty obvious. ⇢ Charms; how else would he get muggle music players to work? Weak Subjects: ⇢ Potions; don't go there... ⇢ Arithmancy; numbers...*shudder* Wandcrafting: ⇢Wood: Pond Cypress. The wood is shockingly white, almost like bone or snow. The handle is carved to show off music notes, and a small line of bubbles snakes halfway up the shaft of the wand. ⇢Core: Fwooper heartstring and vocal cords. An unusual wand core, for sure, but it has seemed to help Sigmund in his art of music. Whether the curse of the Fwooper song will bleed into his wand or not...Only time will tell. ⇢Length: 9 1/2". Not too long, not too short. Just perfect for Sigmund. ⇢Flexibility: A surprising mix of flexible and firm. Firm in the way it won't give out, flexible in the way it's not rigid. Some have likened it to the ocean or a strong wind. Personality: Sigmund is a rather odd young man. He is loyal to the point of stupidity to his friends. He is very charismatic and outgoing, unafraid to talk to just about anyone. He'll try his hardest to cheer someone up, to the point that he might go as far as to hug them unmercifully! Sigmund is very patient, and when you see some of the people he teaches, you see just why. He seems to have inherited his father's high self-esteem, as he has a lot of pride in himself and his duty. He also has a high sense of duty, doing his job with little to no complaint. The only time he may ever complain, even refuse to do something, is when it may endanger someone he's taken a liking to. I guess that's his protective nature peeking through. Like anything that is human, Sigmund has his flaws. He tends to be rather clingy, and really doesn't like being alone. Now and then, he seems to fall into phases where he seems to shut off his emotions. No one knows how or why, but it's as if some part of him over loaded and he needed to detach himself from the situation. But the stark difference can be really shocking when one is used to his normal self. Of course, if it were possible for a man to be prideful, Sigmund would be a good example. He's also terribly flirty, tending to wink or give people endearing nicknames. God forbid, though, if you trigger his lusty side. He's been alone for a long time, and as a teacher, it's not like he can find a lover as easily as other teachers. With as seriously as he takes his job, he tends to get temperamental when something stops him from doing it right. This can lead to him simply being broody, to him swearing or throwing things, or even throwing a man-sized tantrum. A when hurricane Sigmund blows through, you'd better back away slowly and avoid eye contact. HISTORY: Sigmund, if asked, will be very up front with his most important memories. The first would be when he got his Hogwarts letter. You see, this came as a big surprise to Sigmund and his father. Sigmund's mother had been a witch, but had died before she had told her husband. In fact, she had died so long ago, Sigmund does not personally remember her. But, anyways, imagine that! Not only having your only son read aloud a letter proclaiming he was a wizard and had been accepted into a school of magic, but finding that you late wife had been a witch! But Sigmund was overjoyed. This was something incredible, something that made him feel special. Having been raised in the muggle world, he was more like a muggle-born child than a half blood. But this didn't matter. Not to him. This was wonderful! The other memory Sigmund will tell of was when he became a teacher. He had long since shown amazing aptitude in the art of music. So, now he was able to teach about this wonderful form of self expression, and spread the love of music to the next generation. It was great! To teach what he loved, it was a dream. He taught his students about the genres of music, the greatest composers and the modern stars. He allowed them to sample an incredible variety of not just wizarding music, but muggle music as well. Using charms, he was able to make muggle music players work, as well as his prized electric guitar. And, of course, he taught all the physical aspects of music. Writing, reading, playing...Even helped some students to sing. It was a lot of work, yes, but...Sigmund loved every moment of it, and still does. Aspirations: Mostly, his desires are kept secret. Sigmund would love to find a man someday that loves him for who he is, talents and flaws, bad with the good. He would also like to further introduce muggle music to the wizarding world, and wizarding music to the muggle world. He believes music is the one key that binds all people together, the one thing that transcends all barriers and borders. And he believes it may just be the thing to help muggles and wizards understand one another better. INVENTORY: --His prized electric guitar, along with a multitude of other musical instruments that his students use. But this one guitar is one he personally uses, and is thus not for student use. --Several charmed muggle music players, used within the class only as a teaching supplement. --A thick and well worn diary. It never seems to run out of pages, and can only be read by Sigmund. He has had the diary since he started school at Hogwarts, and it holds all of his deepest, darkest secrets. Lucky for him, it flips to a new page whenever he feels the need to write. Face Claiming: KINGDOM HEARTS II, Demyx, Sigmund Blake. MY NAME IS SIREN AND I'M A WITCH. |
