Wandcrafting: ⇢ be descriptive about why you picked each part. ⇢Wood: Yew, the only reason being is that the wand chose him. ⇢Core: ⇢ Phoenix Core. ⇢Length:13 inches ⇢Flexibility: Quite flexible Personality: ⇢ Calm: Devin is a calm fellow, which is also attributed to the fact that he is quiet and timid, which does play a major role in his other traits. Most things don't take him by surprise, and he is able to think through situations, allowing him to think about things to say, and not act rash or make stupid mistakes. Intelligent: Devin is smart, that much is quite obvious, seeing as how he always has his eyes in a book. He gains his knowledge through his immense studying, usually using his free time to read a book. His knowledge his far above a regular fifth year, and probably even more than a seventh year student that is in a house that is not Ravenclaw. Patient: Devin is a patient fellow, he doesn't mind waiting for long periods of time, seeing as how when he does he can also think about things to do and dwell upon other things. He wouldn't mind standing in a crowd for hours waiting for something to be released, but he will get angry if someone has told him to meet at a certain time, and is then not met for a longer period of time, perhaps four or five, though after three hours, unless it is something really big he will probably leave. Modest: Devin knows when he has done something good, and that could be an achievement, but he doesn't talk about it, in fact he avoids the subject rather than basking in the glory that he could get from it. In fact he wouldn't take credit if something was done, and would rather allow someone else to take it, since in his mind he knows that he was the one who achieved, and to him that's all that matters. Organized: Devin is organized, not in the way that he has a folder with every single document in alphabetical order, or anything like that, but in a way that he knows where his things are, where the things in his backpack are, his books, and and anything that he might need.. He doesn't go through huge lengths to attempt to organize messy things, but rather would take it slowly one by one. Optimistic: He looks at the situation and deduces the good things that can come out of it, and if not enough can he adapts to the situation to allow positive things to occur.If the odds are stacked up for a bad thing, he gets used to it and doesn't complain about it Timid: Being of the quiet type, Devin doesn't like to go out and talk to people, rather opting to simply to not talk a lot. If people approach him he will talk to them, but other than that he keeps to himself. Devin doesn't like going around with a bravado, and he doesn't go anywhere for no reason at all. He'll go if he has to make a journey, or is ordered to do so. He wouldn't go out for no reason. Self Sufficient: Devin would rather work by himself, seeing as how he is the quiet type, he would rather do all his work alone, traveling without companions, well at least human companions that is, Pokemon are a different story, since he knows that he needs them to travel. Uncaring: He doesn't really care about what people say about him for they can say what they want. To him it doesn't matter at all he doesn't feel the need to prove himself to anyone at all. If he hears someone insult him he will keep walking unless of course the statement that the person had just said could be used to his advantage and make the other person look like an idiot. Of course if it is coming from someone of higher rank, and is actually constructive he will listen and then take their words and try to do whatever they said. Cautious: He is very cautious with what he does, he never does anything on impulse, for if he did anything on impulse he would never be able to do what he needed to do properly which would in turn help him and so he doesn't even do it. He thinks everything out from picking a battle to what his next move should be in his goal. Liar: Devin is a liar, but mostly lies about smaller things. If a person asked him what grade he got on a test he'd bump it up a few points, but say if someone asked him if he had done a prank on someone, which he never would, he would still lie, if it involved him getting in trouble, otherwise he would just tell the truth. It's partly a habit, and so he can respond immediately without thinking the lie over, allowing himself to look a lot better than himself, and since he doesn't have to think it looks as though it's true. HISTORY: ⇢ One of the most important experiences that occurred in his life would have to be the letter to Hogwarts. Why? Simply because he had no idea he was a wizard, although his mother is a witch and his father is a muggle, they never really did tell him, that he was a wizard. The second would have to be the fact that he got a 132 on his exams in his first year. Of course that simply has to do with the fact that he was over studying, but the grade itself was a big deal to him, being the highest of anyone that year. Aspirations: ⇢ He simply wants to graduate and have a regular life, nothing to major or anything like that. Get a good job and settle down, nothing out of the ordinary.
