☆ the species Filthy half-breeds!
This board will be your guide to the wonderful magical being that are allowed to grace the halls of Hogwarts. It will also explain and differentiate the different blood types that segregate the wizarding world, and their stereotypes.
To reserve a half-breed of any type, if the position is available, please PM a staff member with the following form. Remember, reservations will last for FIVE days only, no exceptions!

⇢ WEREWOLF 0/2
A werewolf is a human who, upon the rising of the full moon, turns into a fearsome humanoid wolf. Werewolves can be distinguished from regular wolves by several small distinguishing characteristics, such as the pupils of the eyes, snout shape, and tufted tail. At all other times, they appear as normal humans, though will often seem to be ill as the full moon approaches. This condition is caused by infection with lycanthropy, usually occurring when a human is bitten by a transformed werewolf. There is no known cure, but the effects can be lessened and depending upon the person, suppressed, with the Wolfsbane Potion.

⇢ VEELA 0/4
Veela are a race of semi-human, semi-magical creatures reminiscent of the Sirens of Greek mythology. They appear to be young, beautiful human women, and their appearance and especially their dance are magically seductive to almost all males. When Veela are enraged, which is rarely the case, they transform into something more like Harpies — their faces turn into beaked bird heads and dark scaly wings explode from their shoulders, and they can launch balls of fire from their hands, making the extremely dangerous. Full Veela’s are not allowed in Hogwarts.

⇢ GIANT 0/1
Half giants are the only kind of giant species allowed on Hogwarts grounds. These half breeds outsize any wizard or human, they are tall and typically very lanky, hairy, and on the awkward side of the population. Half-Giant-half-wizard species have the same intelligence as humans.

⇢ VAMPIRE 0/2
A vampire is a magical being that is known for biting people on the neck and sucking their blood. They are usually pale and gaunt, with sharp teeth for drawing blood. Vampires are classed as beings by the Ministry of Magic, a fact that led both sentinent beings, the centaurs and merpeople to decline the same status since they did not wish to be associated with them, along with the hags being in the same group. Vampires are not considered wizards by Ministry standards, and special rules and such are set aside for them. Food can sustain them for some time, but they MUST have blood to survive.
