Read it if you want. Connor is the twenty-nine year old, half-Veela head of the Department of Mysteries. He's Irish and, as such, has a bit of an accent and has a tendency to name his pets and experiments in Gaelic. He observes everything in a Sherlock Holmes-like fashion and is an incredibly intelligent, fact-based individual. However, he also likes to play with abstract and completely bizarre ideas. Most of the experiments he performs in the Department would be considered 'morally gray' by most, but he honestly has no problem with them. After all, it's all in the name of science! ( FRIENDS ) Despite his questionable experiments, overall Connor is a friendly guy. He has many many acquaintances, most of whom would consider him a friend. However, he would also use most of them in a dangerous experiment without giving it a second thought. There are very few people who Connor trusts, and even less who he would consider a true 'friend'. If you do happen to be one of his true friends, he'd give you his wallet and the shirt off his back if you ever needed it. Generally, these friends tend to be male simply because his Veela blood does weird things to females who are around. ( ENEMIES ) Connor has a number of people who could be considered enemies. The first would probably be the higher-ups in the Ministry, only because they're so against him using creatures and humans in his experiments. They, however, are only a minor annoyance compared to the nature-lovers in the Department of the Regulation of Magical Creatures. The people in that department hate his guts, and (correctly) assume that he is to blame every time one of their animals goes missing. ( LOVERS ) Well of course love, or at least attraction, is a prevalent aspect of his life due to his Veela blood. However, he doesn't really want much to do with it. It really is rather annoying when you're trying to have an intelligent conversation with a woman, but she's just staring at you like a child stares at a toy store window. Despite that, he doesn't actually have a gender preference. He judges people on their personality and intelligence, not their gender and physical appearance. ( OTHERS ) I left Connor's history rather vague so I'd have freedom to plot with family members and past acquaintances. So, I'm open to any plot ideas you may have. =D I particularly want to plot with any Ministry workers (especially the ones in his department) |
